Roller Course

Course content

A course that covers the principles of road construction and the techniques required that produce an acceptable industry standard. Roller operators will have knowledge of correct road construction methods and standards in the application to which the operator is expected to work.

  • Compaction and Density
  • Pre-start Inspection
  • Start-up and Shut-down Procedures
  • Operating Procedures
  • Basic Roller Positions
  • Consolidating materials

Course Cost:

1 day course 1:1 - $1500 per person

Assessment only (1/2 day - experienced operators only) - $750 per person

Participants will be assessed in accordance with the following nationally recognised units of competency as part of the qualification RII30815 Certificate III in Civil Construction Plant Operations.
