A course designed to instruct operators of elevated work platforms in the safe methods of operation and the safety considerations for working around power lines. It is based on the National Core Curriculum and National OHS Standards.

Safe Working Loads (SWL)
Pre start inspection
Start Up & Shut Down procedures
Operating Procedures
Operating on inclines
Emergency back-up systems
Statutory regulations
Stowing for travel
Machine care and maintenance

Course duration:
2 Days (4:1)

Must be 18 years of age

Participants will be assessed in accordance with the following nationally recognised unit of competency as part of the qualification TLI41910 Certificate IV in Mobile Crane Operations:

TLILIC2005A - Licence to operate a boom-type elevating work platform (boom length 11 metres or more)
