C.I.T.S. provides Forklift Training and Beginner Forklift Courses for those looking to up grade their skills or possibly change careers. Courses provide trainees with the knowledge and skills to operate designed forklift trucks and attachments safely, thereby reducing personnel injury, accidents and equipment down time.

Course content:

  • Operator Responsibilities
  • Operator inspections
  • Design feature / engineering principles
  • Stability characteristics
  • Operating techniques
  • Negotiate hazards
  • Pick up and maneuver loads
  • Position and stack loads
  • Parking and shut down procedures
