FRONT END LOADER / SKID STEER / BACKHOE / EXCAVATOR / ROLLER / DUMP TRUCK
Conducted over three days (the participant chooses two machines), C.I.T.S. provides Standard Earthmoving Courses for those looking to upgrade their skills or possibly change careers. Courses provide learners with the knowledge and skills they will need to operate this machinery safely.
This course demonstrates how, through regular inspection and maintenance, an operator can ensure that the machine is in a sound, safe mechanical condition prior to operating. By attending this course the participant will learn the engineering principles of the machinery and should be able to identify potentially hazardous situations.

Eligibility
It is preferable that students are 18 years of age
Students aged under 18 may be deemed eligible in extreme circumstances, where prior experience / exposure to machinery has been evident.
Course Cost
2 machines – 3 day course 3:1 – $2500 per person
1 machine – 3 day course 3:1 – $1500 per person

Participants will be assessed in accordance with the following nationally recognised units of competency as part of the qualification RII30820 Certificate III in Civil Construction Plant Operations
