NON SYNCHROMESH GEAR BOX

Courses provide learners with the knowledge and skills required to pass the VicRoads Heavy Rigid Licence endorsement test.

C.I.T.S. provides Heavy Rigid Courses in vehicles with non synchromesh gear boxes, ensuring the learner can then go on to drive any Heavy Rigid vehicle or lower with no restrictions following course completion. C.I.T.S. can also provide training in vehicles with a synchromesh/auto shift gearbox, however students will have a “B” restriction placed on their licence which only allows the driver to operate vehicles with a synchromesh gearbox.

Eligibility

Participants must have held their Victorian Drivers licence for a minimum of two years

Course duration

Course duration will depend on students prior experience and skill level.  The following is to be used as a guide only.

  • Non -Synchromesh  1½  – 2  days
  • Synchromesh / Auto  1 – 1½  days

Course cost

  • 1 Day sessions    $1700
  • ½ day sessions $850 ea
    Full day sessions are run between 8am and 5pm.  Clients will have a 1 hour lunch break.    Half day sessions are run either between 8am – 12noon or 1pm – 5pm.

 

Vic Roads licence fee $32.78 is included in the course price
